Floor Panels
The energy efficiency credentials and space-saving attributes of a warm-water underfloor heating (UFH) system make it an attractive proposition when it comes to heating your home.
Our specially designed water underfloor heating panels amplify and optimise the attributes of a warm-water underfloor heating system, simplify the installation process, and guarantee that the UFH pipework is always positioned at the correct spacing.
We have developed two patented low-profile injection moulded plastic panels (made in the UK from 100% recycled plastic), each designed to secure the underfloor heating pipework over solid, suspended timber, or acoustic separating floors while keeping any build-up in floor height to an absolute minimum.
The thinnest of these is the Profix® Panel at just 15mm. Designed for use with UFH pipework ranging from 10mm to 12mm in diameter, this is an ideal solution where even the slightest increase to the existing floor level is at a premium.
Alternatively, at just 20mm, the Profix® PLUS Panel has been specially designed for larger diameter UFH pipework ranging from 14mm to 17mm and is, therefore, an ideal solution for larger floor areas.
When encapsulated within a levelling compound or thin flowing screed, these warm water underfloor heating panels are an excellent option for either whole-house or whole-floor projects, whether powered by a boiler or a low-temperature/low-carbon heat pump. They provide the most energy efficient, highest heat output, fastest response solution, and due to their very low profile, can avoid the need to excavate or alter an existing floor to create sufficient depth for a new underfloor heating system to be installed as part of a retrofit project.
